I gained my first work experience at Althoff Hotels while still at school. The Company lets me be creative and to discover food in new ways. Bringing to perfection the things I’ve learned is what motivates me. I like the Company’s exclusiveness. My goal: to get a Michelin star against my name!
Supervisors and colleagues treat each other with respect and appreciation. Attention is given to each person’s specific needs and circumstances. There is also the good work/life balance. What makes my job special and gives me great pleasure is the contact with our fantastic guests and their high expectations, and Schloss Bensberg being a very special location to work at.

I have been working as a masseur at Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt for 17 years now. What I like most about it is being part of a great team with flat hierarchies and a family-like atmosphere. Our all-suite spa cabins are beautifully equipped with wonderful views where we can really pamper our guests.
I look back on a 20-year career with Althoff Hotels, and I now have a small family myself. I am so grateful that I can combine being a mum with being a member of staff at the AMERON Lucerne Hotel Flora. Having worked here for so long, I really feel connected to the Company and am proud to be part of the Althoff family.
